A friend of mine is going to New Orleans in October...I know it's a ways off...he is willing to bring back some bottles for me. My wish list of bottles to try is not extensive. I would like to try some Saz Jr., AAA, and Four Roses (but that’s only available in Kentucky?) and maybe a Saz 18 to bunker. Anyone have any suggestions on what he might find there or the prices I can expect?

Dorignac's or Martin Wine Cellar would have been a good stop with fair prices. The competition keeps mark ups pretty low. Saz "Jr" is in abundant supply. AAA and 4 Roses has yet to be seen by these eyes. The new chardonnay Experimental Collection should arrive at Martin Wine Cellar this week, but supply is very thin this year. There should be a few Antique Collection bottles floating around, but they might take some digging to find them. Call ahead wherever you go. There's also a few bottles of Hirsch 16 still on the shelves that would be a nice addition to a collection. Kentucky Bourbon Distillers is also well represented.
