I managed to score a bottle of 2006 WLW BTAC today...Trying to resist the urge to open it right away. Luckily the 100-degree weather is helping me to resist!

Alright, so I have been splurging a little bit lately. I am trying to expand my horizons, and managed to pick up the following today:
2 bottles of Lot B (mail-order)
a bottle of Pappy 15
a bottle of Wt 101
another RR101 for my small but growing bunker
and thanks to another wonderful member on the board,
a bottle of Stagg
and two split label WT 12.... On their way from the midwest..
All of these are first bottles and tastes for me with the exception of the RR101, and it looks like it is going to be a good week!!! I can't wait to try that Stagg.....
Thank you all for feeding my new obsession...![]()

I've been trying not to buy anymore for a while (really, I have!), but this morning I took a quick side trip to a store I've been to before and wound up with:
ND OGD 86 proof liter (w/8-yr age statement)
and
Cardenal Mendoza Spanish brandy
for $30 out the door (for the record, the Cardenal usually runs about $50-55 in these parts).
I can't keep making "side trips." Great deal, sure, but I've got nowhere to put the stuff.![]()
Tim, you're more than welcome to store your overflow at my bunker, anytime.![]()

I just picked up a bottle of Weller Antique, and a WT Rye 101. Going back tonight since I found a little more cash for my stash!
Any suggestions for a mid range bottle?
Tim

Made a hunting trip today on the east side of town:
Ezra B Single Barrel 15 yo (bottled 5-00)
Evan Williams Single Barrel 1994
Old Charter Proprietor's Reserve 13 yo (Louisville)
W.L. Weller Centennial 10 yo (Louisville)
2X 200ml bottles Old Charter Classic 90 12 yo (Louisville)
Found two 1L bottles of Old Weller Antique 107 (Louisville), but since I just recently also purchased, I let them stay on the shelf.
Also found an Ardbeg 17 yo for $70. Very hard to find these days and very good.

Haven't purchased them yet, but today I found some EWSB 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996. We have had the 1997 Vintage here for a while now, and it is not generally something you find old stock of.

JW Dant BIB. The back label says that it's distilled and bottled at DSP-31, and the bottom of the bottle suggests that it was bottled in 2006; so I suppose either the whiskey is 10 years old or Heaven Hill is using old labels. I suspect the latter is more likely than the former, but I really don't know.
