Nice choice on the OGD. I just poured myself some ND OGD BIB. Very good stuff. What sort of OGD do you have?

100 proof BIB orange label. My first trip with this. I am very interested and curious. I got in a hurry and finished the VOB with intent to get to the OGD. Will try it tomorrow night or over the weekend.

I like the current Grand Dad BIB more than its predecessor of, say, 25-30 years ago. Beam is to be complemented for not messing with the mash bill or otherwise changing this fine old brand. Yes, I know, different place, still and warehouse(s), but the point is the formula wasn't changed and the stuff I can buy today is good as or better than what I could get before.

Nice coincidence with all the Beam talk. I just finished a bottle of OGD 114. This and Knob Creek are two Beam offerings that I just love. I have a bottle of Baker's standing by and I'm hoping that it will be another Beam favorite.

I am having a glass of Bulleit. Nice rye spice to warm me up after being outside in the cold all day. It's been a busy week at work and this is sure helping to take the edge off. I can pick up on the "red hots" flavor that several people mention, and maybe nutmeg? Anyway, I am enjoying it.

And the price was right: $27.98 + tax. Gotta love those 20% off coupons.

    yow, that is nice!

i was lucky, too, and got my first bottle a few weeks ago for $29.99.

tonight, an interesting 'vatting' of Eagle Rare 10 Single Barrel...and EW 1783...made the EW sweet the way i think it wanted to be.

made the Eagle spicier than it wanted to be...
    HUP!
