We are having some friends over for dinner and cards tomorrow night. I am in charge of grilling steaks and serving some cocktails. We have been through Mojito’s, Lemon Drops (both recipes courtesy of Wade and big hits) and Side Cars. I tried a new recipe tonight, Mojito Diablo's.

1 1/2 oz white tequila
1/2 oz crème de cassis
2 lime wedges
12 fresh mint leaves
3-6 oz 7-Up
1 T Brown Sugar
Muddle sugar and mint and lime. Fill with ice; add tequila and cassis and shake. Pour into a Collins glass and top with 7-Up.
It's a nice drink and a little change of pace from the others...the tequila flavor still comes through well.
