Some people really don't know how to serve Bourbon..

I was at a friends house and was asked what I wanted to drink. They had some Wild Turkey, so I said a little turkey on the rocks.

She brings out a 16 oz glass with a few ice cubes filled all the way up with WT...
Now I like bourbon, but WT straight is meant to be sipped, not gulped.....

One time at a hotel stay they handed out two free drink tickets. So I walk down to the bar. The only bourbon they had was Jimmy Beam White. I ordered 2 to go like this "I would like two Jim Beams in lowball glass neat". The bartender grabs two lowball glasses and starts for the ice and I stop her to explain "neat". The Bartender grabs the whiskey and proceeds to fill them to the brim. I almost stopped her since at home a normal pour is two fingers. Sometimes it is a good thing when they don't know!
