buying advice for Pappy 23 yr old

I don't know, but at that price, buy them all.

See if the glass on any of them is tinted green. iirc if the glass is green then it's from the first release and there is rye recipe bourbon inside rather than the typical wheat.

In addition to 'green tinted glass' bottles, look for any with Lawrenceburg on the label vs Frankfort.

Get any and all with green glass and/or Lawrenceburg labels.
