    Another Virginian

Hello, my first post here. I have enjoyed bourbon (and ryes) for many years as well as cigars. I am in the Fairfax area of Northern Virginia, in my mid- 50's and enjoy bourbon, cigars, rum, cooking, shooting, and just about anything you can get compulsive about (from what my wife says..). I grew up in Philly, went to school there and relocated to the DC area 20 years ago. I have a management consulting company , a wife of 34 years, 2 grown daughters and a cat.

As for bourbons, I like them all. Current favorites are all the RVW 15 , Willets, ER squat bottle, and Weller Antique.

It is a pleasure to be here. Thank you!!

Welcome to SB. it sounds like you like the good stuff. there are many bottles out there I had no idea about until here, like the Elijah Craig 12 and the BHC. Enjoy your stay and I'll raise a glass og W.L.Weller 10 yr. Centennial to you tonight.

    Cheers!

Welcome to the forums! There's no going back! Like Tony mentioned, you have got into the good stuff!
Like you, I every now and then enjoy a cigar with my bourbon. Elijah Craig 18 is a great bourbon to have a cigar with.
    Enjoy the ride!

Welcome from a fellow Northern Virginian. As others have noted, you have already found the good stuff.

What sort of shooting do you do?
