(2) Old Forester 100 Bonded (tax Stamp bottles)
(2) JD 1904 St. Louis World's Fair #1 Collectors bottles!
These were on the shelf in Detroit! From what I can tell they will see ebay soon and fund some Kentucky bourbon.

I stopped at a usual store I've been in many times before! Never looked his shelves over to much! But today on the very top (2) bottles of 1995 WTKS Pewter tops.
My most favorite 1996 is empty so I may need to hit one tonight!

2 Saz Jr.s and a 1.75 of Weller Antique 107.
I'm in IOWA.....there is NO BOURBON in IOWA!!!! They do have Templeton Rye on the shelves at HyVee though!! I haven't seen that one in Indy.
My sister's baby is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Finally bought a bottle of Weller Antique. After trying it last night, I wonder why I waited so long. This is a great "bang for your buck" pour.

Today I bought Old Grand Dad 114 for 26.99 and TW Samuels 90 for 8.29..... at Campbelll Station Wine and Spirits in Knoxville TN
The Old Grand Dad I bought because of all of the talk on this board about BIB and OGD 114.... I had tried Basil Hayden's at a bar in WV. and heard that this 114 was related. I like the 114 a lot!
The TW Samuels is in 6YO or in BIB... both are the same price here in TN, 8.29 I guess.... and the store employee told me the 6YO was good stuff but did not recommend the BIB so I bought the 6YO. I would say it is hot and not too sweet, but it does not have a lot of unpleasantness... Its very red! I wish I knew how to describe it... For the price... I think its pretty darn good stuff.
Anyone else try TW Samuels 6YO or BIB?
I imagine it is a Heaven Hill product, but on the net you get the impression it is the same heritage as Makers... but I guess when they started making makers they burned the recipe for the Samuels.... It doesn't have a nasty bite or make you gag or anything like Beam etc..... Of course, my taste has changed so much, I might like Old Crow now... maybe .... I noticed in the liquor store, they sell Old Crow for like 8 bucks and Beam for 14, so... I told the guys in the store, those two bourbons are probably nearly the same thing for six bucks difference!
