Hello from north of the ohio

I just wanted to take afew moments to say hello from north of the Ohio.

    I hail from Evansville, Indiana.

I am new to bourbon but have a tendency to go all out.

My current favs are Blantons, Old Pogue, and EWSB.

I love this site and expect to learn alot from this time forward.

    Birdman,
Welcome to the site. And welcome from your neighbors to the north, as there are several of us from Michigan.
I'm curious...how is your bourbon selection at stores in Indiana? Any government restrictions/price fixing?

Welcome. I don't care if you are a Hoosier, you got to be o.k. if you are
    a Bourbon drinker.

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

The selection here is pretty good. seem like the only thing I cant find are the BTAC.

I'll be taking a trip to Louisville next week. I plan on hitting the liq's pretty hard while I'm there.

Welcome Birdman! See if you can hook up with a guide while in LVille. Those boys went and hunted that place bout dry! You will find a great deal of info here, I know I have! I'm still pretty new myself so soak up what you can and stock up when you can!

If you are looking for the BTAC, then good luck! There may be some left, but I haven't seen any lately.

Old Town on Bardstown Road has a nice selection. I don't know the current progress of the custom Weller Antique bottlings they were selling.

Of the three Liquor Barns, I'd recommend the one on Hurstbourne, just south if I-64 first, then the one north of Westport just inside I-265. Turn north at the Home Depot and east at the Sonic. Liquor Barn has a custom bottling of Blanton's. I have no idea what it's like.
