Weller Special Reserve, Antique 107, Centennial, or 12yo; any of them have a cork?

Centennial does have a cork, the other three do not.
You did not ask but William Larue of the BTAC also has a cork.

No good reason other than the aesthetics/experience of having a corked bottle of bourbon. I find them pleasing and was a bit disappointed when my new bottle of Special Reserve had a screw cap ala MM. Thanks for the info.

Help me out with the difference between the Centennial and the 12. The Centennial is 10 years old, correct? If so, why is the 10 more expensive than the 12?

Maybe I can help with that one Tim. The Centennial is a 10 yr. 100 proof where the Weller 12 is a 12/90. They get less bottles out of a barrel at 100 proof than 90 so cost goes up!
Have you found a Centennial? If so have you tried it? and which bottling?

I do not have a Centennial...yet.

I am working on the Special Reserve I just got a few days ago. It's tasty and smooth. The nose is sweet, which I really like and the mouth feel is creamy/milky, almost oily. My only criticism at this point would be that it's almost too smooth. It has virtually no bite and the finish is very clean. Having said all that I do like it, and I think it will be a good pour for friends when they visit.

So how will the Centennial compare?
