Tonight I am re-visiting an open bottle of Old Granddad 114....
The bottle is about half full, and the musty medicinal qualities I've previously gotten from it appear to be absent.

hoo-boy, finished a bottle of EWSB at a friend's wife's lawshool graduation party last night. about 2am, after sitting on the ground in front of a campfire for 3 hours, I stood up to go break the seal on the nearest tree and realized how completely tanked I was . Good thing my wife was the DD!

My best mate is here from Sydney, and yesterday was my birthday....so we hit it hard.

Had a couple of pours of PHC last night with friends. I continue to be in love with this bourbon. Wonderfully rich and complex. IMHO, one the the best produced!

A lot of beer. I tried to get drunk last night, but I was so busy enjoying the beer I was having that I stayed up until 3 AM, drinking the entire time, and I went to bed sober.

We had a family get together this evening and I enjoyed a PVW15 and a Redbreast 12 year Irish.

I dumped a few nearly-empty bottles into a 200ml flask I keep in the freezer for "emergencies." I believe the final breakdown was 2 pt Buffalo Trace, 2 pt Weller Antique 107, and 1 pt Barton BIB. I like the resulting mix quite a bit. I'm enjoying the last of it right now.
