Good 'ole Pappy 15. Nice big pour. No kidding but it crossed my mind tonight than gremlins are sneaking into my bar and drinking my Pappy 15 exclusively . Every time I look at this bottle it is way lower than my last recall. Maybe there's a hole in the bottom?

I'm still enjoying my first pour of Weller Centennial...I like everything about this bourbon, the color, the nose, taste and finish. I know it's hard to find nowadays, but if I can find it, I'll buy more.

    Pappy 20

I'm moving it to the back of the cabinet tomorrow night and I'll move something else forward before I mess up and polish off the whole bottle.

I know exactly what you mean. I just finished off my bottle last week and have the replacement still bunkered in the basement in an attempt to force myself to drink others on the shelf.... unfortunately my Pappy 15 is taking the brunt of this policy . Gotta grab some lower shelf stuff before I drink myself broke .

A big pour of Elijah Craig 12. Sadly, there is only a couple of pours left. Happily, there is more at the store.

A pour of VOB BIB.... this has to be one of the greatest values in bourbon today.... $11.90 a bottle... How do they even make it for this???

I started with a couple of WLWeller 12 yo from the Binny's special bottle, neat.
This is the first WLWeller 12yo I have had in a few years, (not available in MI) I tried it a couple of days ago and I like it better now.
I look forward to spending some time with it.

And now into WLWeller Antique 107 over cracked ice.
The ice really brings out the wood but this is good wood.
One of the very few, if not the only bourbon that I can say this about.

As promised, I'm going to grab a glass of the 120th to toast one of our newest members!

Hey Toby, this pour is for you... I'll make it a long pour since it's almost 400 miles away!

    Cheers!

I'm sipping a Black Maple Hill rye 18 years old. Cask 80,47.5% ABV. I like this with a few cubes and a very little water added. The richness seems to come out more so with the rocks. This is a flavour I find hard to describe, well-aged rye whiskey is quite unique I think especially this one. It has notes of old flowers or old books in a cedar closet maybe.
