Having my first pour of the Nikka Yoichi 15 yo. This is some good stuff. The spice in the finish is slaying me.

Trying Highland Park 12 AND 18 for the first time ever. I bought a bottle of the 12 that came with a mini bottle of the 18. While I definitely prefer the 18, the 12 is very good.

The HP 12 is good everyday pour @43%, it would be great @46%. The 18 is bordering on great @43%, it would be spectacular above 46%

Wow. You must have one heck of a dialed-in and discriminating palate.

Far from dialed-in, but my Flaming Heart 4th is pretty great @ 48.9%.

Powers 12 last night and a bit of Connemara Peated Single Malt to finish the night off. Definitely a bourbon football day today though!

That's a nice little package with the 18 YO mini thrown in for free. I love the 18 too but the 12 may be my favorite everyday pour. (That is, when I'm not drinking bourbon, of course.)
