Thanks for the suggestions, boyos. The Aberlour cask strength is talking to me, but I'll keep all of these gems in mind. For now though, on to the Lag 16.

As far as sherried scotch goes, the Glendronach 15 I had this past weekend is tasty but may have a lower QPR than the A'Bunadh

I'm eager to try the Revival 15. It seems like its sweeping the scene over the past 6 months.

ChainWhip, I saw that you're on a CB kick. Have you had a chance with the Flaming Heart 4th edition? I opened one a few weeks ago and it really took my breath away. I'm seeking a few extras before they disappear.
@Yeti: not yet. I'm working through a sampler pack and just finished off my bottle of CB Eleuthera. I may have to snag a bottle of the FH to keep this streak going (believe me, it's no chore at all).

Started off with a G&M Mortlach 15 yr . . . not my thing. It is cloyingly sweet and one dimensional. To me, this stuff is better off as a JW component.
I've now switched to the Laddie 10, which is fantastic as always. This and the HP12 are my favorite every day scotches. I never get tired of either.

A little Glenfiddich 12 followed by some Ardbeg 10.
