that Hemingway on friday was an excellent smoke. perfect burn, perfect ash, went great with a couple pours of Wathen's. smoked it on the deck while listening to the baseball game. phillies came from 6 runs down in the bottom of the ninth to win with a two-run shot in the tenth. the game got so good that i ended up smoking it right down to the label.

now i have a Saint Luis Rey going with some Noah's Mill. not a bad smoke, but not one that people around you would enjoy.

ah yes, thanks. i finally found some VW, but i had the misfortune of having my wife with me. and she wouldnt let me spend $50 on Lot B or the $90 on the PVW 15 year.

after a nice thai dinner last night, i enjoyed a 5 Vegas Gold on the deck with a Narragansset beer. topped it all off with a sip of Noah's Mill.

my lady even enjoyed the smell of the smoke when she popped out on the deck for a minute.

Just smoked a La Aroma de Cuba with a glass of EC18. Never smoked one before, but it went pretty well with the bourbon.

had a Oliva Connecticut Reserve Robusto on Saturday that was pretty good.

Had a Rocky Patel Edge Lite (toro) with a healthy pour of OGD BIB yesterday. Not bad but probably would have been better in cooler weather (< 100F).
