I would like to have a thread like the other, but this one to celebrate drinking in the morning.
It was Rare Breed for me this morning.

It is always morning somehwere... little 4 roses
Good Old Coffee in the morning for me no drinks till the day is done! I have noticed that alot of younger people do not drink coffee any more, but having a coke with eggs still seems weird to me!

No booze in the morning for this dude. I make up for it in the late afternoon and evening though.

Coffee. No alcohol during the day (except, sometimes, when at Kentucky Bourbon Festival events).
Recently I had lunch with an acquaintance who has a great knowledge of coffee, the blending of same and how to make a true expresso and latte drink. Very informative it was. It's like a lot of what we talk about here, just applied to a different drink. He said e.g., Mocha Java is a blend of two types of coffee, Java which is winey and acidic and Mocha which is from Yemen originally and is deep and chocolatey. I never knew that. He said the famed Blue Mountain coffee fully deserves its reputation if it is the real thing.
That's another idea, bring out a steaming pot of top quality Joe at midnight at Gazebo. (I wonder if the colloquial term "Joe" for coffee is a corruption or humorous derivation from the term Java).
By the way this person was of the view that the best coffees today are shade-grown, single estate coffees. He said natural growing practices (whether "organic" or not) tend to increase the quality. I am not sure I've ever had such a coffee.
