That's the problem with purchasing scotch--it's too stinking expensive. I really have to stop and consider what I'm doing when I ponder purchasing a nice bottle of bourbon for more than $40. But when it comes to scotch, $40 just about gets you through the door to the good stuff. I've been living on a fairly steady diet of Highland Park 12 at $35 a bottle and would kill to pick up the HP 18 but can't stomach the $100 price tag, for which I can just about buy three bottles of the HP 12. Maybe I'll get lucky on my upcoming birthday and all my friends will pitch in to get me the HP 18--hint, hint.

I did get lucky though not long ago when I snagged a Lagavulin 16 for $55 ($90 at Binny's!), Talisker 10 for $51 and an Ardbeg 10 for $43. Hey, a guy could go broke saving money on those bargains!

The Redbreast you can get here, the Greenspot you can't so I hope you didn't get too hard for the shipping. I don't know what Mitchell does to the Redbreast they buy to improve it so much but I'm glad that they do.

The RedBreast I got duty free so it was cheaper than buying in Ohio.

The GreenSpot came from Canada so I didnt have to pay for shipping, all of them were delivered by a relative.
