Old Pulteney 12 and 17 came home yesterday and I regret not buying the 1998 Gordon & MacPhail Old Pulteney 10 Unchillfiltered that I enjoyed so much at the last South Loop Binny's event. May have to make a trip back today to snag it.

Bought a bottle of Highland Park 12 that came with a 50ml bottle of Highland Park 18. Look forward to trying both having never had either.

My corner store is running a sale today. I picked up the Talisker Distillers Edition ($59) and Glenlivet 21 Archive ($119). I'm starting to regret not buying the Talisker 18 ($109) and the Oban Distillers Edition ($109) as well.

Wow, glad I didn't buy that Talisker 18 for $109. I just picked it up at another store for $79. Not sure how that happens.

I was gonna say $109 was pretty steep but I thought maybe that was the new pricing. Stock up on the $79 bottles because they've just about doubled the pricing of the new release from what I've read. http://spiritsjournal.klwines.com/kl...s-the-end.html

Bottle each of Hibiki 12 Year and Yamazaki 12 Year. Haven't tried the Hibiki but the Yamazaki has been one of my favorites, lately.

Well, that explains it. I guess the $109 was on sale from the new price, while the second store still had it at the old price.
