That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…

Id take the Yamazaki over the Hibiki each and every day. I would take the Nikka Yoichi over both of them combined, however. My fave of the Japanese so far.
Had a finger pour of some Yamazaki 1984 today. Mind-blowing, with sherry fruitiness over a warming barley heat and a perfectly balanced, everlasting finish. The bartender caught me licking the inside of my upturned glass. Best Japanese I've had yet. Itching to try the Hibiki 21, and Yoichi if I come across it.
I am not content with saying "when it's gone, it's gone" - I would like some to enjoy down the road.

Bought a Talisker 18. The price was nice, and I liked my last bottle. Tempted to "stock up".
JW Green just because of the word it may disappear and the good reviews. I have never tried it so hopefully it will prove to be a sound purchase.
If you like the Black the Green is a treat.
Bruichladdich PC7 today while trying a few barrel selections at a local store.
