I picked up a Talisker 10 because I'm always afraid that the Utah DABC is going to realize that their price is too low. I like the old box better.

K&L is accepting pre-orders for their 12 year (1999, $145.) and
30 year (1981, $390.) Karuizawas, both with NOH/mask labels.
According to D. Driscoll, K&L is the first US retailer to carry the
Karuizawa.
Check their blog for info.
I was tempted, I'll admit, but $145 for a 12 year?
For St Patty's day I picked up some Writer's Tears (a decent pot still blend).
Whisk(e)y - a bargain at any price !!!
I'd really like to get the 1981 Karuizawa, but I have to jump through too many hoops to get a bottle from K&L.
Of course, the pound of flesh I dropped on the 1982 Noh and its friend might have something to do with my unwillingness.
