Re: Which Water of Life Did You Purchase Today?

Care package came in the mail today containing a Forty Creek Confederation Oak, and a 375 of Alberta Premium Rye.

Excited to try both, not often, if ever, get to try some of these that are available across the border and not readily available in the states.

    Thank you!

Made a rare trip down the Dark Side aisle and came out with a Balvenie Doublewood and Ardmore Traditional Cask.

I like them both. The Doublewood was the first scotch I ever really liked, and the Ardmore TC is tough to beat for the price.

Amen to that! I love them both too but have been leaning heavily these days on the Aberlour line.

    I found a ~2005 HP18 at 2005 prices. Just $78. Usually it's $100 or more around here.

Also picked up a JMR "Smooth Sweeter One" for the hell of it. I'm curious about these blends.

Took a cut-off from my Sunday bike ride to stop at my local whiskey monger. Picked up a Hibiki 12 yr just cuz the bottle looked so purdy.
