Yeah, seen that before but didn't really think much about it at the time. Would be fun to get a bottle of the Corry and give it a go, though.

Just placed an order that I am insanely excited for, but until it safely crosses the pond and is unboxed in my office I'm keeping my lips sealed tight.
Can't jinx it.
Turn three times and touch wood.
Wife is picking me up a Jameson 12 today for St Patrick's day.

Just picked up another Ardbeg Uigeadail (what a power house!) and a new one, Laphroaig Triple Wood.
The Triple Wood is sweeter and less cigarette ash than the Quarter Cask, and bottled at a solid 48%. Nice pour.
Was offered a bottle of the new Dalmore Cigar malt. Sounded interesting and the reviews were pretty good so I thought I would give it a try. Much pricier than the original edition but apparently a somewhat different whisky as well. I like the sherried drams so hopefully this will be a nice addition.
That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…

What's better than a single malt from your birth year? How about one from your Father's birth year?

A bottle of the Clynelish Distiller's Edition (the current one, with finishing in Oloroso Seco casks), which will be a gift to a theater tech crew's afterparty this weekend.
Why yes, I do get to attend and partake!![]()
