I just placed an order from SV and looked at that bottling.... but I went with the Ardbeg Corryvreckken instead. Sounds like I should have gotten both....

Just got back from the NYC area with several new bottles and an empty wallet. In addition to retrieving a previously purchased and stored case of Lagavullin (while flying around on Jet Blues all-you-can-jet pass), I picked up 3 Supernova, 3 Corryvreken, 3 independent 11 YO Bowmore's (distilled in 1989), 2 Compass Box Lady Lucks (bottled for Park Ave Liquors) and a Compass Box new Flaming Heart.

Bought three bottles of Wild Scotsman 15. Closeout here in PA; they're practically giving it away. I suspect the stocks will be gone in soon. it's only in two stores now. Fortunately both near my house. I almost feel like I should have bought more. I had gotten a bottle a few months ago and it's a nice pour. Very easy to drink.

I had the 17-year Rum Cask last year. It had all sorts of sweet, spicy, caramel and allspice notes. I loved it. Too bad I could only afford one...
