I replaced my empty bottle of Ardmore Traditional Cask today.
Ardbeg Uigeadail. Never had it, but I've heard so many good things. If Jim Murray and Ralfy both think it's some of the best they've ever tasted, that's enough for me to plunk 70 bones down. Looking forward to my after dinner drink.

Just had a pour, it's good stuff. Pretty complex. Salty, peaty, mediciney, but then the sweetness. The only other Ardbeg I've had is the 10 year old, and can't say now which I like better.
Counterintuitively, I think the 10 year old is actually sweeter.

I also find the 10 year sweeter, to the point that it's hard for me to drink. Maybe it's the reduced proof, but whatever it is, I prefer the Corry or Supernova. I'd still take the 10 year over almost any scotch in the world. Have you tried Lagavulin 16? Also a classic.
Ahhh..Laphroiag triple wood..WOW!!!
To get back my youth I would do anything in the world, except take exercise, get up early, or be respectable.
