I picked up Old Pulteny 12 and Teachers today. I like Teachers and I hope that it will extend the life of my single malts. My wife really put a hurting on my Cragganmore 12.

Snagged a Glen Spey Flora & Fauna today. Even though I have one I'm damn jealous of that Ardbeg '77.

I have found a real taste for Teachers as well. It is a bit hard to find in SoFla so I jumped when I found this 1.75l bottle for $29 the other day. Is this a blend of single malts?
I picked up a Glen Spey and a Milburn the other day.

I bought a Benriach Curiositas last weekend and shared it with two friends. This one is very very peaty. I dont remember the exact ppm phenols but its higheer than Ardbeg or Lagavulin. And it taste as such. Its not as sweet as Ardbeg which I like. At only 46 abv, this one is best drunk neat. Its very good. The smell of peat is very strong- some say it smell of iodine or medicine. It you like the strong peaty whiskies from Islay you need to try the Curiositas although Benriach is from Speyside.
