Found a bottle of the Ardmore Traditional Cask that I've seen mentioned here a few times. Also got a bottle of my favorite, Laphroaig 10yr. It was the last bottle on the shelf and I get the feeling it may disappear again from these parts for awhile.

I find it to be a little "hot." Not nearly as smooth as Laphroaig or anything. However I plan on adding some water to it to see if it opens up a bit. So far, I don't think it's bad at all. I just need some more time with it.

Today I went back to the store planning to pick up a bottle of Talisker 10 after doing some reading on it. Unfortunately, they were out of it! So I was tempted to get another bottle of Ardbeg 10 but I ultimately decided to try something new and went with the Bowmore 12.

Picked up a few Redbreast Cask Strengths. Opened it up to take a quick whiff. So far, so great. Going to go do my run, then it's pour time.

I've had one bottle of it. It was great. I wish I could buy it in Ohio, but I have to mail order it.............. and that's a pain because of the legal age signing thing.

I received a Wild Geese Irish Soldiers & Heroes blend for my birthday. This will be my first foray into Irish Whiskey and I'm excited to expand my palate and enjoy some foreign WhiskEy.
