Re: Dusty Wild Turkey American Spirit...Signed!

I'm a fan of WTRB & WTKS but never had this one. Found one back when it came out but didn't buy it due to $$$ and comments on the web. It seems to be an expensive coin-toss with this product. BB

Lately, yes, it does seem to be that way.
Especially the Kentucky Spirit, real young to me.

Re: Dusty Wild Turkey American Spirit...Signed!

I would have posted earlier but I drooled all over my keyboard and shorted it out. I had to go spelunking in my closet to find another keyboard.

I'd have to say we have a wonderful example of a beautifully crafted wooden display case, a fine case of bottle art and a real treasure of a signature on the bottle. That's $70 worth. The $9 for the bourbon is a steal!

I'd probably have an aneurism if I found one bottle signed by the man, JR, himself. Oh Crap! there goes my keyboard again...

Re: Dusty Wild Turkey American Spirit...Signed!

This last year has been a hectic one: family, work, graduate school, academic travel/work in Germany, Poland, Denmark and back to the USA for more travel in Philadelphia, Princeton and Gettysburg. As a result, I've taken the year off from much of my collecting life. Well, after a particularly difficult semester I finally got a day off yesterday and decided to do a little driving to check out my liquor honey pots from last year. Well, some lout had actually cleared most of them out (cough, cough) and they had not had the good taste to restock the dusty shelves with more dusty bottles. Well, that was until I came to the honey pot where I picked up the American Spirit last year. The seller produced three more bottles of which two came home with me to add to my stash. Keep on your collecting....they're out there if you go looking for 'em!

Re: Dusty Wild Turkey American Spirit...Signed!

While on a scouting mission, recently, I spotted two more bottles. In time they will be mine too!

For my money, the WTAS is much better than the Tribute.

I think it was Tim Sousley who stated that they were complete opposits. Check the search for his comments.
