Dusty Finds
Decided to spend a couple hours in Frederick, MD today and hit about 12 liquor stores. Got a couple of really great finds. Notice the Old Forester on the left (rear view) without the UPC on the back. They all have tax strips and MD excise tax stickers. I picked up the four bottles of OF86 for $12.50 a piece. I'm happy with today's hunt.
Also notice that from the front view, the one of the right says Brown Forman Dist while the other three say Old Forester Dist. Louisville.

Re: Dusty Finds
Couple more pics of the other bottles I picked up today. I found a bottle of Eagle Rare 101 10 year and a 1.75 with what I believe to be the fake tax strip of Old Charter 7 year old.

Re: Dusty Finds
Update on the dates of the OF bottles. Chatted with TNBourbon and he pointed me to the two digit year on the bottom of the bottle. I had read that elsewhere but had a brain fart and didn't think to check it when I bought them. So, the bottle w/o the UPC was bottled in 1980, the other three are '83.

Re: Dusty Finds
Went into D.C. today for dusty hunting and here's what we brought home. Picture 4 is of an odd variant on Wild Turkey, an 86.6 proof (Thanks to Scratchline).

Re: Dusty Finds
Oh, I was tempted to crack open one of the Old Fitz BIB's, but thankfully, Scratchline hosted my brother and I at his house and had some really nice bourbon's open for us to sample, including the BIB.
There were a number of really nice finds that I had to leave behind, including a 1.75 Old Fitz BIB and a number of "old" Old Grandads. I wish now I had picked up the remaining Cabin Stils and the I.W. Harper 86 that were sitting on the shelves. All in all though, a productive day.
