Eth3rStrik3r
Went to go buy some BT and EC12 but my local liquor store was out of both. However, they did have Russell's Reserve Rye 90 on sale for the same price as WTR101, so I bought both of those.
OscarV
One of my employees went to Japan and I asked her to see if she could find any Four Roses, Asian style. She brought back ..................two empty bottles?!?!?
gblick
I finally got around to buying a bottle of Elmer T. Lee, and this is the first time I've ever even tried the ETL. It's very good, better than I expected.

funknik
I found myself in NH yesterday doing the first hike of the year . . . hiked 5.7 miles up two different mountains! The famously cheap NH Liquor store was running a "spend $75 get a $10 gift card" promo so I spent double that -- I picked up a handle of Sailor Jerry for the wife, two current Rare Breeds, my first Evan Williams SB 1998 and an Elijah Craig 18yr barreled on my Dad's 30th birthday. I threw a couple minis in there & it made for a good little haul, and now I have $20 in gift certificates burning a hole in my pocket.
MikeDS
I bought this gimmicky bad boy scant minutes ago at the Highland Park, IL Binny's. I kind of don't even care if it's good or not...

MikeDS
Oh what the flippin' crap? I just noticed this is a 375ml bottle. Oh well, it's good (kinda sweet) and I'm happily buzzing so that's what counts!
smokinjoe
I went to the Sampler with the idea of just picking up a few everyday pours, and not specifically looking for the rare/high dollar items. A steal at $10.99)1 JTS Brown BIB1 Wasmund's Rye Spirit1 Old Forester Signature.1 VWFRR 13 yr1 Lot B2 07 Stagg1 CGF WT12 (in trade)Hopefully, this will keep me set for a while. ACDetroit
While in West Virginia for the funeral this weekend, I ran up to Morgantown and checked out the University. The liquor store on campus had a bunch of Rittenhouse Rye 100 proof $14 each so a grabbed a few, since we can not get it in Michigan.
Blitz
Picked up a bottle of Weller 12 over the weekend. It's good, but I think from trying it and other wheaters recently, I can offically say that I am more of a 'rye guy'.

It's nearly as good as the '06 release.....and the '06 is stellar.

It's nearly as good as the '06 release.....and the '06 is stellar. But the '05 is better if you drink them neat. I find that teh '06 fan club usually custs there juice.... both are great, but you need to cut the '06 a little to make it right... Nice pick up Joshua... I could have swarn I said to get both
Joshua
You did. There's plenty of the WLW to wait a few days. I spent a fortune on things over the last week, so the "play money" funds are dry until next this coming weekend. I'm trying to be responsible or something. JamesW
Not a Makers drinker usually (only when it's the only thing around in a bar etc...) but I saw a 1.75 L for $34 and said "Hey Now!" and scarfed it up.... that's like 14.60 for a 750ml/./..... not too shabby! Mispriced no doubt
