redwizard6 Posted January 16, 2003 Share Posted January 16, 2003 I'm sittimg here having a large galss of evan williams single barrel and a Fuente Opus X perfextion #5. An absolute match made in heaven. The cinnamony cloves taste of the EV sb is a perfect match for the spicy, cedary, roasted nut flavor of the Opus #5. The 2 together just intensify and compliment then taste of each one. Both are great on there own, but together, this may be the best Bourbon/cigar pairing I've ever had. And believe me, I've tried a few. The Opus may be a bit pricey, but if you enjoy Bourbon and cigars together, give this one a try!! JMHO!!
