I received these as a gift several weeks ago and I think it's the finest general use bitters around. Expensive but if you're into classic cocktails, you know that these bitters appear in many historic recipes and their recreation is something of a grail quest. They are extremely complex and balanced and make the best classic Old-Fashioned that I've ever had. Or maybe it's the Parker 27 that's hitting the spot. If you can find them cheaper elsewhere, go for it. I received most of my Bitter Truth Bitters directly from Germany. scratchline Posted April 20, 2010 Author Share Posted April 20, 2010 When I was in Rochester, I went by Fee's and they gave me a tour of their place. I highly recommend it. It's a genuine family business and it's great to see their products getting more play. The best part was the Jack Daniel's barrels that were sitting in the front windows of the office aging their Whiskey Barrel Bitters.
