I've been making notes on a printed copy.  Marking just my favorites to the relevant branches of the relevant trees.  It has been an enlightening exercise to see where the juice I love best and have bunkered falls across the tree line.

The only product I've tried worthy of written addition so far has been the Jacks Daniels SBBP.

As a Josh with small children (but not the original Josh with small children) it seems like I might be able to help out...

This is my attempt to list only the regular (at least annual) in production straight bourbons from the major distilleries. I listed private selections where they are what I consider a different expression from one of the standard bottlings. I listed export only expressions if I think they are still in production. Lots of "cats and dogs" are missing (especially from Heaven Hill) so please let me know if they are still widely available somewhere, such that they are worth adding. Perhaps some of the Luxco products should be added to the Heaven Hill list as well?

I have taken information from various places around the web, so I will not be insulted at all if you think something is wrong - please share. Also, any additions, corrections, whatever can make this better are welcome. One particular area where I think additional information is needed are the Barton (VOB and 1792) mash bills. Also, my minutes of research (hey I said I had small children) did not yield a clear answer on whether Old Forester Single Barrel selections carry age statements - well, one of you must know?

Good job Josh. Should BiBs that aren’t otherwise age stated be listed as 4 yrs old rather than NAS? Just a thought.

GREAT JOB!!!!   :) My hat is off to you, Josh!   This had to be a hell of lot of work... it certainly would've been for me and my one good typing finger anyway.

When I factor in the "small children" for whom I assume you bear some responsibility of care and direction... well I am left in awe!

Thanx for this effort.

Well, all NAS straight bourbons are at least 4 years old, so my logic was that a 4 year notation is redundant, even for the products advertised or effectively marked as four years old. Also, I would hope that the $40+ BiB products are more than 4 years old.

In looking at the table today, I note that the 1792 Sweet Wheat mash bill must be wrong, as it lists a standard rye bourbon mash bill. I would think the 1792 High Rye would be a different mash bill from their other offerings, but have not seen any specific information on that. I believe there is some discussion of how many mash bills the Barton distillery uses earlier in this thread, but don't recall a conclusion being reached.

Also, I see the "Jime" Beam Black typo.
