Brown-Forman annual meeting

On July 24, 03 Owsley Brown II addressed the shareholders of Brown-Forman in their annual meeting. He commented that their spirits business had an oustanding year with record profits. However, there was no mention of bourbon in any of his comments. Of course, JD and SoCo are their leading "brown goods" brands. In some ways bourbon fans are lucky they've given as much attention to Woodford Reserve as they have. Of course, industry insiders tell me WR is still coming from Louisville as they've not gotten their potstills to match the notes of the Louisville facility.
