If not, or for others, when/if it starts to taste less then desirable,clear the space in front of your face and blow OUT the cigar. It'll throw ashes and sparks, so, as stated,make sure it is clear in front of you. I've actually put a lit lighter in front of it when purging, and it's like a blow torch. All the nasty buildup blows out and it tastes amazingly better, once done. Oh, you should ALWAYS do this if you are going to relight a cigar after letting it go out.
