Roma Craft Aquitaine 5.5x37

Oh I think I have this one stashed away, been saving it but might be time to pop it out.

Just had a somewhat disappointing Perdomo Habano Maduro. Had there 20th anniversary Maduro box pressed which was great but not this recent one.

I've enjoyed all the RC cigars I've tried.  Personally, I've liked the Aquitaine Mode 5, the shaped version, better than this 5.5x37.  And the draw tends to be tighter on these narrower vitolas...

Saints & Sinners #2 from their 2017 Summer Pack. Crazy barnyard funk and red man chew prelight off the wrapper.

This is pretty nice an Ashton Symmetry robusto. Very nicely balanced medium body, good smoke production and burn. I’d buy again as part of a deal.

That one surprised me a bit. I haven’t had bad experiences with Ashton’s but for some reason I was expecting meh. I was pretty impressed too.

Really if anything I was expecting more for what this retails for and the Fuente and Ashton collaboration. I enjoyed more than my past few but didn’t knock my socks off.

I posted about some Herrara Esteli Miami I bought in November a box of 10 for $30, I had back home in Buffalo on a dry 20 degree night and thought they could use some time in a humidor. Well damn not sure if the difference is these sitting in my tupador or the the fact that I’m now smoking in 68 degree weather with a light rain drizzle but it’s so much better now. Great smoke, nice white ash, solid flavor.

This one wasn’t too bad, not out of fantastic but better than my recent smokes.

Nymphs and streamers this year.  It's been very cold, so hatches were non-existent.  Normally can expect a BWO hatch and some cream midges in the slower water and tan/olive caddis in the fast water this time of year.
