Finishing up Brabes on the radio out front with a Rocky Royale.  A little raggedy on the ash, but it’s a solid smoke.  Nice spice that’s going well with a PS Whistle Pig 10 yr.

How do you make an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No 3 better?  Age it for a few years.  This was exceptional.

I wanna be like smoknjoe listening to the Stros game on a phone app.  Need to get myself an old transistor radio.  Alec Bradley Mundial Punta Lanza No. 7.  A little bigger than I like but definitely no complaints.

Burns good but not digging the taste at all.  I like Nat Sherman and bought a couple of boxes when they discontinued the brand but they’ve been not very good.

^Not familiar with that Diamond Crown.  I think I had a nice maduro from them, looks good.

They have added maduro’s to the portfolio, and they are very good, IMO.

I had a box of these Oliva V Melanio arrive today.  Jolts seems to have a daily special every week on these that comes out to $6.50 a stick.  I really like these.

Cool but bright blue, sunny, skies on a late afternoon here Down South.  Nice fire going and a Rocky  Vintage 1990 making this even extra special.

  • 4 weeks later...

Got damn cold in Germany the last couple of weeks, but it was about time for a serious bourbon and smoke evening. Lone Elm Single Barrel, which was a nice juice, plus an Eiroa Robusto. Great cigar!

Well, this was another fine cigar. A Vega Fina Robusto which was created for the german market. Quite woody and a little sweetness. With some coffee and Makers Mark 101.

Time for a relaxing break with “friends” after Christmas Eve dinner with a My Father Le Bijou 1922, Bunnahabhain 12, and some comfy M&M Christmas PJs…🤪.  Santa’s OK , since I know he’s a pipe smoker, but that snowman is eyeballing my stogie, and I don’t trust him…🤣

Out front by the gardenia with a Gurkha Classic Havana Blend robusto.  What a spice filled little monster this is.

First smoke with coffee. I went for the Clint Eastwood model, an italian Toscanello.

Always a nice, rustic smoke.
