I was up there a little less than a year ago. I was the only person for a tour but Truman still spent almost two hours showing me around. I mentioned that I collected actual used barrel heads. Truman went into the back and produced a used Bowman barrel head. I asked him to sign it, which he did. He was so gracious and will be missed.

Very sad news indeed. It's taken me a while to be able to post my thoughts here.

Whenever I met Truman, he always took the time to chat with me for at least a few minutes regardless of how busy he was. The other thing that sticks out in my mind was how he greeted me, and probably everyone else too. It was always with a big smile, and a hearty handshake. That's how I'll remember Truman. That, and that he was also a helluva barrel dancer too.

Cheers Truman. You were truly one of the good guys, and you will be sorely missed.
