Glassware is inappropriate for this one. The "choice fruits" are a bit slim on the fractional bottle compared to the 750mL, but I guess the neck opening limits what they can pop in there.

Wow! You're really on a roll today.

I noticed that on the Sambuca it says there are certified colors added. Is clear considered a color?

Yes, working alone at the office has its benefits.

In regard to the Sambuca 72-- it's actually got a pale yellow cast, hence the color statement. I love that pack design-- makes me want to read Zap Comix nekkid with Patty Hearst.

I couldn't help but smile seeing this. My wife's family is Spanish and we have spent many a night in remote farmhouses in northern Spain (about 2 hours from Bilbao), drinking various things including this.  The mere smell of this takes me back there. Cheers!

Excellent— historic liqueurs are like vintage VW Beetles, many people have happy memories associated with them. Spirits are such a great conversation piece— I guess that’s why we’re all here.

Mixed basket today, the FEW Anguish & Regret is a Jeppson's Malört knock-off and is to the original as their bourbon and rye offerings are to heritage brands of the same.

I was with you right up until the FEW! Ugh.

Yes-- it's a FEW sandwiches short of a picnic. One of my least favorite distilleries.

Funny that this IMPORTED CANADIAN LIQUEUR is made by Heaven Hill in Bardstown.

Wow! Tiddy’s. Go figure. “Once upon a time, at a lake far, far away......” As my screen name suggests, I am/was a fisherman. My first experience with what some friends kiddingly call “Titties” was on a fishing trip. On that trip, many stories were told by my fishing comrades about some of their snowmobiling adventures in northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. Of course these stories involved the finishing of a number of bottles of Tiddy’s. ?

Great story-- thanks. Reminds me a bit of the tales I've heard associated with this one…

At least this is appropriately named; Anguish & Regret.

Unfortunately the majority of domestic craft liqueurs are like their bourbon and rye counterparts-- Honey Bunches of Bullshit.

I bet Douglas wants his tree back.

On the bright side, at least you're only stuck with a 200ml bottle.

Big thumbs up for "Honey Bunches of Bullshit :D

I imagine it's associated with the popular German drinking game-- where a knock-off product wouldn't fly.
