Was watching a travel channel special on London and a segment toured the underground command headquarters used in WW2. This was Churchill's command center and displayed there are a number of his personal items including a partially smoked well chewed cigar. For anyone interested the brand was La Corona.

Pretty sure he got Habanos directly from Cuba. The size he smoked was a 7 X 47, which had a

factory name of a name I forget. They changed that factory name to "Churchill" that is now the

classic 7 X 47 size.

Yes, the factory referred to the 7x47 as a 'Double Corona" as opposed to the smaller size regular corona. Churchill's favorite brand was Romeo y Julieta.

The vitola name for 7x47 was and still is the "Julieta 2."
