If I had to list my top 5 ryes, disregarding price, they would be:

1) Wild Turkey 101

2) Willett 2 year

3) Whistle Pig

4) Knob Creek

5) James Oliver

These are as of this moment, are entirely fluid, and will likely change the change the instant after this post.

What are you top five right now?

Handy is my clear favorite.

Sazerac 18 would likely be second.

VWFRR would be next, but this is based on the memory of two pours that I had more than a year ago. It could go up or down. (When I open the bottle of this I just acquired, I'll reassess my list.)

Baby Saz is next - clearly resembles the Handy for obvious reasons, just not as full or intense.

CEHT Rye. Tasty and it's own mashbill. Expensive for what it is though, so not a regular.

Yes.....I have a thing for Buffalo Trace ryes. I'm not as well exposed as others here, nor am I as much of a rye enthusiast as others, so take that into consideration.

If I have an honorable mention, it would be the Dickel Rye.

Disregarding price and availability (although I do have at least one of each of these at present in bunker):

1. VWFRR

2. HW 21 yr

3. Baby Saz

4. SAOS 8 yr barrel strength

5. Jefferson's 10 yr Canadian

I would rank Rittenhouse B.I.B. #1.

After that, any of the MGP/LDI stuff 90 proof or over: Dickel, Bulleit, Pepper...

I give an honorable mention to Sazerac. $40 or more, and very scarce around here makes me rank it lower.

I have not tried WT 101 Rye since they changed the label. I haven't seen a new one yet.

The Sazerac 18 and especially the Van Winkle seem very popular. I haven't been able to find either. Are these all gone?

Around here, there is about one hour a year when you can hope to find one. I didn't even bother this past fall.

That bugs me. If I find something I love, I'd like to be able to drink it.

All the better reason not to hunt those.

I hear ya. That is why I am working hard to love the ones I'm with.

Dickel (consistent and readily available)

WT 101 (hope to try the "new" version in short order)

WTRR (consistent and available)

baby Saz (at least I have an opportunity to pick this up once or twice a year)

Ritt (consistent and readily available)

I purposely omitted a few  that I also enjoy (maybe some a little more than the above). I'm going with top 5 in purchases and consumption, as most of the others I enjoy (that are not on the list) are either too damn expensive, or too damn hard to find. :P

Handy

VWFRR

Jeff 10 NCF

Various Willett/SAOS selections (likely if I had to pick my top 5 BOTTLES I've ever tried, these might fill my top 5 spots completely!)

5 + 1

VWFRR - one open, 3/4 full, three in bunker

Saz 18 - two in bunker

HRD Pendelton "1910" - what I use for a Sazerac when I'm sure I'm going to have two

Saz Jr - what I use for a Sazerac when I think I'm going to have just one but am not sure

WT 101 - what I use for a Sazerac when I'm sure I'm going to have just one

The + 1 rye is some Large Distillery rye, distilled in 1913, bottled 1918. I acquired two quart bottles (3/4 full) of this back in 2011. First is gone, second (stored in a modern 750ml bottle with tight cap) about half gone. I only pour this when I have another whiskey enthusiast visiting - a very rare event.
