Tony Santana
Bought a bottle of Noah's Mill recently, finally cracked it open. I've had it before, but never bought a bottle. I realize its NDP stuff and can vary from batch to batch. I've never been overly impressed with it before, preferring Rowan's Creek (a cheaper bottle) in side by sides. Still, had heard the recent batches were pretty good, so gave it a shot. Was not disappointed. I'm not that great with tasting notes, but this had a fairly complex flavor, a little extra, I don't know - grainy + nutty character? Good mouth feel, good finish. Drinks lower than its proof. I might have to get another. Batch 15-18. Edited September 12, 2015 by Tony Santana
Golzee
Last night at my friends wedding, after I gave the best man speech, I had countless JB and Ginger Ales. Say what you will about JBW, it does it's job very well.
flahute
Went out to a very special 9 course dinner last night with 5 wine pairings for those courses and I was the driver so I had to abstain from pre dinner whiskey. It was a 4.5 hour experience and I thought I may end up whiskey free for the evening but then thought better of that and had HMcKBIB when I got home. It may not be "fancy" but I thought it was fine capper to what had been a fancy evening.

Harry in WashDC
Fozz, as some of us posted on the BOTM from several months ago discussing JBW, it may not appeal to some of us straight or on the rocks, but when mixed with Coke or Pepsi - 50/50 for me - it is almost impossible to beat. About the only thing I like better in COke or Pepsi is JB bonded which I have to be carfeful with as I'll drink it like water on a hot day.Right now, I'm watching my alma mater (from 45+ years ago) lose. Drowning my sorrows such as they are - more about how long ago it was that I cared - with JJ Bowman Single barrel 100 proof. Finishing this bottle before it spoils; may have to open another to make sure it is ok. I just love rainy days with college football on TV. fozzy71
Made it up to 94 proof with the help of EC12. Next up is Blantons, RHF and OFSIG and , then GD12:OGD114, BT:OGD114 and beyond...... Bakers, MMCS, RRSiB and WTRB. So many good open bottles right now. Edit: decided to pull the Blantons and MMCS out of the rotation since they are only pints and no point sipping on them after so many pours of lesser bourbonsEdit2, since I can: screw top on ofsig threw me for a loop after so many corks... BigBoldBully
Kirkland - first time having it, damn is this stuff fiery. Tried vatting it with KCSB as originally planned, adds flavor but does little to tame the fire. Amazing how a 103 proof can be sooo much hotter than a 120.
