Passed on EH Taylor Barrel Proof @ $150 and a EC23 @ $299.

Before lunch yesterday in a neighborhood with great restaurants that we don't get to very often (parking sucks), I wandered in to a liquor store that had last year's BTAC in the window with some PVWs. The sale prices were what you'd expect - Saz 18 $700, Lot B $600, Old Fitz Bonded $100. etc. Bottom shelfers were at (very few) MSRP or above regional prices. I bought nothing. Come to think of it, maybe this post belongs on the "peaked" thread.

Passed on a '15 OFBB for $100 today. I've been out of the bourbon game for so long that I don't even know whether that was a bad price; I just know I used to pay $50 for it.

I know. The problem is in the last three days I just bought 4 bottles of EWSB, and 2 OWA 107 Single Barrel.

Even that $23 each for two bottles of MM46 is a deal!

Must be. My costco liquor doesn't even stock Bookers. As a matter of fact, IIRC, in NY, the liquor and wine can't be physically inside the Costco warehouse. So mine is kinda off to the side of the costco entrance. Completely separate. I actually think they may be independently owned as I've never seen any of the Kirkland brands in there.

The 3 I got in IN this summer were on sale for $35.99 (normal MI price is $60 so I had never tried it) and I am now kicking myself for not clearing all of the chain store's shelves of it.

The 2 bottles of EC23 I have been passing on ($299 each), are both gone. That is just so much above the MSRP that I can't believe people in my area would buy it.

It's the price for me. Out here, the only store that has the new PH Malt priced it at more than $100. There are just so many good malts or scotches I can buy for that price. I have to pass.

Passed on a Old Forester Birthday Bourbon. Listed as $100 on sale for $94. Couple of reason I passed 1) Probably lost on me, too new to appreciate it, 2) I believe it should be priced somewhere around $70.

New label EC23 and a whole bunch of single malt (2015 Supernova, some cool Laphroaig stuff...)

I might go back for some of the latter, but I can't be sure about that EC. Will wait on EC18 and see how difficult that is to get.

Just picked up a Bookers Big Man, Small Batch at Costco here for $46.99.
