Popcorn already has barrel aged brown spirit. Maybe they meant barrel-proof?

(Something I'm still eagerly awaiting from Dickel.)

I hope GD continues their barrel select program.  The 9 yr barrel proof is one of my favorites.

I agree. I don't even know what Popcorn Sutton is, but George Dickel is a fine, old brand.
