VAGentleman
I was down in TN for work and was able to pick up a bottle of this. I get oak, spice and vanilla on the nose. The taste is vanilla, oak, spice and some cherries all integrated extremely well. Nothing overpowers anything else. The Dickel vitamin notes are pretty subdued in this, definitely compared to the 9 and 14 year old single barrels. A nice long finish that leaves the same oak, vanilla and cherries in your moth for a good while. I like this a lot and will pick up another if I get the chance
ken_mays
What proof and price? I have the 14 yr barrel select but actually prefer the 9 yr.

tanstaafl2
If I am not whooping and hollering for the Orphan Barrel Whoop & Holler then odds are I am going to take a pass on this one as well!
VAGentleman
I hear you, I'm a big Dickel fan and glad I have this as its quite good, but probably won't buy another. Whoop and Holler, who knows if I see it.
