ridetoslide
A friend of mine turned me onto this so I'm going to share it with all of you, even though many of you may have had it before. it's bourbon brownies. Go to the store and buy 2 packages of Duncan Hines brownie mix and follow the directions. Substitute bourbon for the water it calls for. The 2 brownie mixes in a 9x13 makes a thicker more moist brownie. Everybody LOVES these things! The bourbon taste in it is awesome! Gotta warn you that they are addictive, lol! PaulO
It sort of makes me think of the trick substituting half the water in pie crust recipe with vodka. The alcohol cooks out at a lower temp/faster than water. I bet those brownies are like eating a candy bar. P.S. I recently had some nice bourbon balls at a friend's party.
