GaryT
Stopped by a local craft distiller in Bucks County, PA and tried their rye and malt - neither were terribly impressive but picked up a bottle of their single malt. Apparently the current batch included chestnut wood (and part of the gimmick is that it includes some really old reclaimed wood for the barrels - which the gut in the store admitted were smaller - but he wasn't sure exactly what size). Interesting (if not impressive), and one I'll look forward to spending more time with. http://hewnspirits.com/#reclamation-single-malt-whiskey
