My wife bought me a new hutch/desk that matches my old desk and bookshelf.  So naturally I could not put office supplies in it, I had to put some bourbon, just makes sense.

I like your aesthetics, you make it nice and elegant in a few spots there.

I don't think you have enough whiskey though..

How do you like that abandonado tequila? They were giving out samples at specs the other day and I gave it a try.

It's not pretty but it is practical. I decided to move into a cupboard and have used these 'very useful' storage boxes as a means of hoisting them around. And they are, as the name suggests, very useful.

Best of all it's all contained in a single cupboard. For now...

Both - I stocked up on a few of the 16 after it was discontinued.

I think the best lesson here is:  Fast, easy removal in case of an emergency!  Smart.  Very smart.

Hey Bourbon Aficionado's

First time poster and this is an almost up to date photo. I have been a bourbon drinker for awhile but really branching out this year. Exploring things I hadn't tried before and enjoying the ride so far!

Enjoy!

I've been on vacation for a week plus, and it's been yet another working vacation. I didn't accomplish near as much as I wanted to. Trying to keep my basement dry after a record 14.38 inches of rain here last month put the kibosh on a few things.   Somehow, I did manage (with the help of Mrsfishnbowl) to do some major cleaning, rearranging and updating to my "bourbon room".

Gone are an old desk and hutch, a small computer desk/phone table and a lot of odds and ends. New additions are a shoe rack , a (non bourbon) display barrel gifted me buy a liquor store owner, and a dual drawer filing cabinet with a bookshelf that almost perfectly matches my liquor cabinet. Now if only I can keep it clean.:P Tentative plans are for new flooring or carpet in September, if.....

FWIW, the box of Weller SR in my display barrel doesn't have any bottles in it. It contains most of my smaller bourbon items/paraphernalia.

Had to do some rearranging to fit the new stuff that came home today. This is my bar and the Ikea wall cabinets above. I keep a step stool handy. There's also a "bunker" cabinet under the printer. This doesn't count what is in my closet or basement..or at work.

Here are my current open bottles. I have some doubles in my bunker (boxes). I've slowed down with buying since we're about to add on to the house, so we'll need to furnish those 2 rooms. Many of the bunkers in this thread are incredible.

I recently took a Victorian Walnut dresser and removed a couple of the drawers and put some shelves in and made it into my back bar.  Easy to revert to a dresser if I need to.  Wife even liked it.  This is almost all of my stuff there are a few handles that are too large for these shelves that are located elsewhere.  Enjoy.
