mdband
Since I moved away from Louisville within the past 2 year, I saw Jeptha Creed Distillery off I-64 while traveling between Lexington and Louisviile (thank god the wife is from Lexington). I figured their bourbon is still under the aging process, but I could be wrong. Has anybody tried any of their products? Thoughts/review?
Paddy
They've been open around a year or so. Pretty small operation, producing their own vodka, white dog, etc. They've got a good (visible) location, but nothing of their own with enough age on it to call it bourbon...at least yet. Oli77
Move forward to now. Today they released a new bottle and I drove with a friend to taste it. It is a 98 proof, 4 grain bourbon. We found it young, not sweet, no vanilla, a little bit of wood in the end. Pretty astringent and dry. We didn't buy it. Perhaps wait another 2 years, in wood....
