They were all the latest (?) C-something batch. I don't think I've ever seen a B either.

B518 is around Iowa currently.  Shelf of it last night for $70.

Passed on so much in the past week hard to remember them all. Michters 10, Yippy K, Russell 2002, Niska?, W Pig, and another dozen. lpfratn is in my area and I'm sure he'd be able to remember that other dozen. :) I did bend over on the various CEHT offerings though.

I picked up a CEHT Four Grain and WTMK Revival at our favorite LS, but passed on all the rest...some of which I had found elsewhere, such as back up bottles of Blood Oath Pact #4.

Saw the new Jefferson's Twin Oak "Custom Barrel" on the shelf it was $70, like many Jefferson's releases I was intrigued, but since there are so few Jefferson's that deliver on the intrigue on the shelf it remains.

There’s a little part of me just hoping for the day they confuse us all by putting out a new release that’s really good.

Stopped by Brown's LS in Gainesville, GA Sunday and they had Stagg Jr listed for $99.99. Laughable man, laughable. 3 other places near me all sell for $55...

Passed on some older OGD86, with the pinch back bottle shape. Had the Beam bar code, so I passed.

Those faded-to-tan OGD labels always crack me up. :D

Right there with you. Sale price of $179? Don't think so. I'll use that $$ to pay for one night at the GN next month :)

Money much better spent! Well, not that the GN is worth $179/night but what can you do?

Found myself going thru St Louis so I quick googled a few recommended LS to surf.  Friar Tucks was the first - nice store with decent prices, easy to find, but nothing of real note (for me) at that moment.  Second was Randal's - 180 degree difference.   Pics are from Randal's - not just a pass on purchases but also a pass on ever returning.

Couple other stops included Pinkneyville IL where BT was on the shelf for the low low price of $47 for a 750, a bottle of Blanton's for $90+ at another shop @ 1hr west of StL,  and Primo Vino (should be Primo Pricing...) in Cape Girardeau where almost everything on the shelf was $5-$30+ higher than I've seen in any other state so far.  Actually appreciating Little Rock a lot more.

Hey, cool, thanks for visiting our bourbon museum !

The real problem is that people keep buying it, reinforcing their stupid pricing.

They occasionally get good KC and 4R picks, and some of their VIP email sales are stupid cheap for everyday shelf bourbons that they are looking to move.  Other than that, I usually drive on by, on my way to better stores in town...

$187 is the cash/debit price. Should I go back?IMG_20180823_162826.jpeg

The only thing here priced with a Cash/Debit discount is gasoline, this is a good price based on MSRP of Batch 2 I guess but a pretty poor price based on batch 1, I wouldn't bite.

This selection is amazing but the prices are absurd.  Cool to see such a huge variety though.
