A good article @fishnbowljoe shared with me about this PBR Whiskey, interesting that it is being made by New Holland Brewing when, if I recall correctly, PBR owns the Minhas Distillery https://www.foodandwine.com/news/pabst-blue-ribbon-whiskey

The public comment period for changes to current TTB Regulations has be pushed back to June 26th, in my personal opinion some of the proposed regs needed some tweeking to say the least.

It appears that Yellowstone's next LE will again be fully sourced bourbon, 9 year 101 proof

Gotta love the text on the back:

I have no doubt that the 9 year old sourced barrels are better than the 5-6 year old house distilled stuff at this point ;)

How did I miss this! The back of my neck is growing hotter and more red just thinking about it. This is a sure buy. I just need to get a barrel for a little extra aging.  I noticed the label is NAS so it could be less than 5 seconds and we’d never know.

Beam 80 Proof Rye, hope this isn't taking the place of the 90 proof which is a huge improvement over the old 80 proofer

Hmmmm.    That last one BIB Michigan Rye) sounds intriguing.    At 100 proof, and I hope 4-years old (or they're in some trouble!), AND, sporting a mashbill of 100% rye!     Could be something to try, if it ever comes to market.   I couldn't read the location (if it was indeed on the label anywhere) of their distillery.    Anybody ever hear of it? ...Or know where it is?

Thanx, Kevin!    Maybe I'll take a ride out there and see what's going on, ask a few questions, get a taste or two....

For enthusiasts who don’t drink it: “We don’t care.”

For those who regularly do drink it:  “We don’t care.”

WIN-WIN!!!  :D

A new label approval for HW Bourye, I compared it to the most recent bottle I have (2017) and I don't see any difference other than text spacing on the back but maybe someone else sees something

The Larceny Store Pick has a barrel number and date barreled.  That could be interesting.  Sample looks over 7 years.

It looks like they were careful to not label this as KSBW, but rather simply  SBW, seeing it was distilled in Indiana.  So many laughable things on this whole brand!  Enjoy Tasting History!

They must have made some small change to the label, but the MI version of white label HH80 has been 36 months old for a long time
